Notifications
Open system Settings, find Söz, and choose Notifications to allow or disable reminders. Turning reminders off does not affect lessons or saved progress.
Photo access on Apple devices
Söz asks for add-only photo access when you choose to save a word card. You can review or revoke that permission in system Settings. Söz does not browse your photo library.
Local learning data
Deleting Söz removes its local app data from that device. Before deleting, remember that progress which has not synced may not be recoverable.
iCloud learning backup
If iCloud sync is available, key learning data may remain in your private iCloud storage after the app is deleted. You can disable iCloud access for Söz and use Apple’s available iCloud storage controls to remove app data. Setting names vary by operating system version.
Android system backup
Android backup or device transfer may retain allowed Söz preferences under your Google Account and device settings. Manage or remove that system copy through Android and Google backup controls.
Analytics and word reports
Analytics is off until you explicitly allow it in Söz. If enabled, Söz uses Mixpanel for anonymized product analytics, limited diagnostics, and the structured word-report action. Mixpanel does not receive the advertising identifier, answer text, or your optional profile name. You can change the choice at any time in Profile → Settings → Analytics & diagnostics; turning it off stops future events.
Android advertising privacy
Google Mobile Ads and optional Mixpanel analytics use separate choices. Where Google makes its privacy-options form available, reopen it from Profile → Settings → Advertising privacy. Changing the analytics switch does not change Google’s advertising choice, and changing the advertising choice does not change Mixpanel analytics.
Pro access by platform
Apple manages App Store purchases, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds; use Restore Purchases if access does not appear. Android has no Söz Pro purchase: an optional rewarded ad unlocks Pro for 24 hours.
No account to delete
Söz does not create a user account, so there is no account deletion request or web login. We generally cannot identify device-only, private iCloud, Android backup, or anonymous analytics data as belonging to a specific person remotely.
